Eygptian glass perfume bottles

Nothing is more satisfying rather than to see your house "sparkling"... everywhere.. Unfortunately with three boys actively running, jumping, quarreling or yelling to each other in the house I can only have that opportunity once in a RARE blue moon. Kalau ada benda atau something yang diaorg nak.. barulah beriya suma nak tolong Ibu to maintain the cleanliness.. otherwise.. selamber derkkkk jer..

Nak mencuci botol-botol tu kena laaaa banyak "bersabar". Dah la saiznya yang "kenit" dah tu botol tu "nipis" sangat. Takut kalau buat tergesa-gesa, ada pulak yang crack or even worst "pecah". Pecah boleh cari ganti lagi, tapi kalau luka?? and nak membersihkan kaca-kaca tu, satu hal la pulak kan kan kan.

Nak mula cerita, few years back, while I'm still in Malaysia.. Cik Asben selalu bawak balik macam-macam souvenir or gifts for me time dia balik cuti. Macam-macam la, from key-rings, fridge magnets, accessories, decorative plate and even these ever "so fragile" Egyptian glass perfume bottles. Its was told and believed that these bottles are used to collect the tears of those yang berkabung for the loss of their Pharaoh. Nowadays, its function are more to isi minyak wangi, pewangi mandian or even as a lovely gifts. These bottles are easily found here, biasalah.. kat negara Tanah Berdengung ni, benda-benda macam ni senang la nak dapat.

Me, for sure I shall forever cherished them as my beautiful  personal collections. Tapi sebenarnya tak sanggup jugak nak mula mengumpul botol-botol ni sebab harganya.. tersangat la "mahal". Tak berbaloi dengan saiznya yang "kenit". But nevertheless, sometimes you just might have to pay for the price.. kalau dah nak sangat dengan "something"... would you agree??

Last but not least, mekasih Cik Asben.. Ibu sukaaaaa sangat.. nanti beli lagi ya..

    I used to collect those Venetian glasses from Italy.

  2. Dearest Uncle Lee,

    Awwwww.. so sweet of you.

    Actually that's the only best smile that I have on picture. Most of the time it can only be senget, muncung panjang sedepa or me imitating tarzan. Bare in mind, I got 3 actively youngsters in da hse. 24/7 is "chaos".

    p/s;
    I love your quote "Have a nice day, keep a song in your heart".
    Hope you don't mind if I pinjam ya.
