Bubur tumis halia


Good morning.. well at least its still morning here..

Pagi ni something simple from Dapur Ibu.. but again, its always been something simple from Dapur Ibu. Those who are familiar with my cooking albums in the Facebook, will surely agree with this statement. For me when it comes to cooking, its always simple, less time to prepare, minimum ingredients but nevertheless still fulfill the necessary purposes.. perut kenyang, anak-anak suka hati but above all and foremost, tekak and selera orang Melayu.

Pagi ni Amsyar tak pi sekolah sebab they're having some sorts of Fun Fair at school. Biasa la kalau ada funfair, the students can choose to come or not to come to school. Being typical Amsyar.. mana la dia nak pi sekolah. Ada la sekali dia join, end-up balik rumah dia kata "so boring". Well,  ever since then.. dia prefer dok umah rather then going to the school funfair again.

This morning boleh pulak dia mintak nak bubur for breakfast. Senang hati sangat la Ibu. Cuma for me, bubur tu Ibu masak cara biasa saja. Cuma yang sedikit membezakan bubur tu ditumis terlebih dahulu. Cuma perlu tumis bawang merah, bawang putih dan halia. Setelah naik bau, Masukkan air dan 1 kiub atau stok ayam. Kemudian masak la bubur seperti biasa. Jangan lupa perasakan dengan sedikit garam. Setelah bubur masak, boleh la dimakan dengan ape-ape lauk sampingan. In my case and as shown in the picture, those are all the leftovers from our last lunch and dinner as well as sedikit telur masin. Lada sulah jugak boleh menaikkan bau serta rasa bubur tadi. Cubalah..
